The brief was seemingly simple.
Ashok Leyland wanted a Father's Day film.
The condition: they did not want the story to be around truck drivers at all. (Who then?) The brief was passed around a bunch of teams and around 8-10 films were already rejected by the client - and that was when it landed on my desk.
The weight of the old rejected concepts was heavy, but just like an Ashok Leyland truck, my load capacity didn't disappoint either. 😛
